This is partially good because it means that the signature may not appear broken, but it can also be bad because elements within the signature can become too tiny to read or be useful. Many mobile email clients will scale email signatures down to their screen size. These devices are typically held in portrait mode and tend to render emails at around 400 pixels, but the actual width can vary greatly.
